Duct sealing
Mastic and metal tape on leaky joints and boots, so the air you pay to cool reaches your rooms instead of the attic.
Learn more about duct sealingDuctwork
Supply and return ducts cleaned to clear heavy dust, debris and contamination. We'll tell you straight whether your system needs it.
How it works
The EPA doesn't recommend routine duct cleaning. It does say cleaning makes sense when ducts have visible mold, pests, or heavy dust and debris. That's how we approach it too.
If moisture caused mold in your ducts, the moisture problem has to be fixed first, or the mold will come back.
Be cautious of chemical biocides or sealants sprayed inside ducts as an add-on. The EPA doesn't recommend them for routine use.
What's included
We look inside the ducts and tell you whether cleaning is worth it.
The ducts that carry air to each room.
The ducts and grilles that pull air back to the system.
Vent covers cleaned so dust doesn't go right back in.
Floors and furniture near each vent are covered.
We point out leaks or damage we find along the way.
How the job goes
We check the ducts and confirm cleaning is the right fix.
We cover floors and furniture near the vents.
Ducts, registers and grilles are cleaned out.
We show you the results and anything else we found.
Only when needed. The EPA recommends cleaning when there's visible mold, pests, or heavy dust and debris, not on a set schedule.
According to the EPA, duct cleaning has never been shown to prevent health problems. If dust or debris is blowing out of your vents, cleaning can remove it.
If your ducts run through the attic, it's worth checking. Leaky return ducts can pull attic dust into the system. Sealing stops that.
