How it works
A clean attic, start to finish
We use a high-powered insulation vacuum that pulls old insulation through a hose into collection bags outside. It doesn't get carried through your living space.
With the attic floor clear, it's the best time to seal gaps around wiring, plumbing and light fixtures before new insulation goes in.
Removal is usually paired with new blown-in insulation or spray foam, but you can book it on its own.

How long does removal take?
Many attics are done in a day. Large, deep or tight attics can take longer. Your quote lists the schedule.
Do you remove rodent droppings?
Droppings mixed into the insulation come out with it. If pests are still active, have them handled by pest control first so the new insulation stays clean.
Can I just add new insulation on top?
Only if the old insulation is dry and clean. Wet, moldy or contaminated insulation should come out first.
