Blower door testing
We measure how much air your home leaks, test duct leakage and take basic air quality readings. You get a written report.

We walk the outside of your home and seal the gaps, cracks and openings where outside air, dust and water get in: around pipes and vents, along trim and siding, at the roofline and around doors.
How it works
Every house has openings in its outer shell: where pipes, wires and vents pass through the wall, where siding meets trim and the foundation, and along the roofline. Over time, caulk shrinks and cracks, and new gaps open up.
We walk the whole outside of the house, mark every gap we find and seal each one with the right material: exterior sealant for joints and cracks, backer rod for wider joints, low-expansion foam for larger openings, and new weatherstripping and door sweeps where the old ones are worn out.
Some openings are there on purpose. Brick weep holes let water drain out of the wall, so we never seal them shut. We fit each one with a vent insert that covers the opening and still lets water out. Soffit and attic vents stay open so the attic can breathe.

What's included
We check the whole outside of the house and mark every gap, crack and opening.
Gaps around plumbing, electrical, dryer vents and A/C lines sealed where they enter the house.
Open joints where siding, trim and the foundation meet sealed with exterior-grade sealant.
Gaps where the roof meets the walls closed off, with soffit and attic vents left open.
Worn weatherstripping and door sweeps replaced so doors close tight.
Fitted with vent inserts that cover the opening and still let the wall drain.
How the job goes
We go around the outside and mark every gap, crack and opening we find.
You get a written list of what we'll seal and the price.
Each gap gets the right material: sealant, backer rod, low-expansion foam or new weatherstripping.
We show you what was sealed and clean up before we leave.
Caulk is part of it. We also use backer rod and low-expansion foam for wider gaps and replace worn door seals, so each gap gets the material that lasts.
No. Weep holes let water drain out from behind brick, and sealing them can trap moisture in the wall. We fit them with vent inserts instead, which cover the opening and still let water out.
We walk the outside and check every penetration, joint and edge. Add a blower door test and we can find leaks you can't see from outside.
Both matter. Attic air sealing stops leaks between your rooms and the attic. Exterior sealing closes gaps in the outer shell. We'll recommend where to start after the inspection.
